The Explore three bedroom house feels like a hidden gem among the stunning backdrop of Franz Josef. Surrounded by native plants, it's like being in your own little oasis. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, with everything you need for a cozy stay. As an adventure traveler, I loved the convenience of having irons/ironing boards and blackout drapes/curtains in the rooms. It's the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
I personally didn't fancy the single bathroom setup, but hey, that's just my opinion!

Spacious and beautifully decorated house with open plan living conditions and a cozy gas fireplace. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and complimentary washing powder sachets. Conveniently located near hot water baths and town. Stunning mountain views, TV in every room, and an isolated feel despite being in a campervan park. Outdoor baths and immaculate facilities. Quiet location near heli hike depot. Luxurious place to relax and catch up on washing during our campervan tour.

The accommodation was modern and comfortable, with plenty of space for our group. The outdoor spa baths set in the rainforest were a unique and enjoyable experience. The location was convenient, with the glacier hot pools just across the street and restaurants and bars within walking distance.
On our first night, there was a group staying in a camper park that backed onto our bedrooms. They were loud and played music until the early hours of the morning, which kept us awake.

Private outdoor spa tubs, cozy fireplace, and spacious lounge make this vacation home a perfect place to unwind. The rainforest surroundings add a touch of serenity. Safety features are a bonus!
Oh, but how delightful it was to have limited kitchen implements and just one tea towel. Truly a chef's dream!

Can't fault the property in any way.

The single-story house will give you plenty of space to relax and enjoy all Franz Josef has to offer. It's like having your own private retreat in the heart of nature.
Only one bathroom for a group of six guests.

the house was incredible - clean, well-equipped, and comfortable with a great location. the staff was responsive and helpful. loved the outdoor jacuzzi and the convenience of the nearby hot pools and town center. wished we could have stayed longer, felt like home.
Limited kitchen supplies - lacked cleaning products and necessary utensils. experienced a power cut on our first day and had to buy candles and a torch.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel! From the cozy fireplace in the lounge to the beautiful terrace with stunning mountain views, every corner of the hotel exuded warmth and elegance. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was commendable as well, with easy access to the main areas and spacious rooms that were perfect for relaxation. It truly felt like a home away from home for our generation.
I would have appreciated having more assistance from the children working there. As senior guests, a little extra help with luggage or navigating the property would have made our vacation even more enjoyable.

The location was amazing, tucked away in a secluded camping ground but still just a quick walk to the center of Franz Josef. We had a blast visiting the Glacier Hot Pools and exploring the Fox Glacier Glow Worm Forest. Plus, the outdoor spa baths were the cherry on top - the perfect way to unwind after our adventures!
If there was one thing we could ask for, it would be a better sound system in the cottage. As young party-goers, we love blasting music and having a good time.

We had a great time at Treetops in Franz Josef. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby township and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The outdoor spa bath was a highlight, providing a serene and relaxing experience after our long walks and trails. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the necessary utilities in clean and working condition.
One specific situation that stood out was when we experienced a power cut on our first day. Although it lasted almost the whole day, we were impressed with how quickly the issue was resolved.

I recently stayed at the beautiful Franz Josef Treetops for a relaxing getaway. The location was superb, with a secluded feel and an easy walk to the township. The twin outdoor spa baths surrounded by native bush were incredibly relaxing. The house itself was spacious and had a cozy fireplace. The beds were comfy, and the well-equipped kitchen was a plus. The cottage was set in a tropical oasis, with stunning views from the windows. Highly recommend!
100% Recommend this hotel.

The location of this place was absolutely stunning, tucked away in a secluded spot but still an easy stroll to the town. The twin outdoor spa baths were mind-blowing, nestled in the midst of native bush, creating a truly immersive and relaxing experience. The range of activities and dining options in the town were super high quality and provided endless opportunities for exploration and enjoyment. The cleanliness and upkeep of the entire place was impeccable, and despite its location within the campervan park, it felt like a jaw-dropping luxury lodge surrounded by lush greenery. The comfort of the beds was so impressive that my family immediately went out and purchased the same ones. This place truly exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return for a longer stay.
